| The Atelier du hautbois was founded in 1986 It is located in Amilly, 130 km south of Paris, in the Loiret in France About 350 instruments are made each year by 10 specialised workers, mostly trained on the premises. Though advanced technologies are used to shape the bore, the keys are still adjusted and fine-tuned by hand.
